Lunch places in RTP area
I work over by Brier Creek and would like some suggestions of more places to try in the RTP area for lunch.
Here are some I have enjoyed:
-Neomonde - tasty, would recommend
-Carmen's Cuban - what I had was really good, what my lunch companion had was not very good
-William's Gourmet Kitchen - good sandwiches
-Morrisville Deli - great sandwich
-Saffron - Indian (have only been for dinner but what I had was really good)
-Sarah's Empanadas (yummy, I have had some coworkers with bad exeperiences, but mine were good.)
-Pizza Italia - very good meatball sub
-Zakya - Indian buffet that I like
-Tasu - hit and miss, but their green curry is wonderful
-Smokey's Shack - I enjoy their BBQ
-Randy's Pizza
I also like Greek Fiesta for a quick lunch.
Ok, so where else should I try?
Thanks in advance,
Alan

Isn't Hwy 55 a bit too far to go from Brier Creek? Maybe you can hit Pho 9n9 (Miami meets Alexander). Trali does Irish. Asuka does Sushi, Tower Indian, Village Deli, people like the Ribs at whatever the place is called.. that use to be or still is Rubs Smoke house.

You're referring to Smokey's Shack in Morrisville. And that, too, is a far drive from Brier Creek, professsor.

Smokey's is not too far for lunch for me. (Of course, I am a bbq fan so that helps...)

I made a special trip to 9n9, and was not really blown away by it. Don't know if it was an off day but found it OK at best. The Broth for my pho was not too tasty, and compared to other pho places not much meat included.

I have been to Pho 9n9, it is one of the places I like to go on rainy cold days. I forgot to mention it.

Professor? Well he had said he's been to Neomonde and I don't recall Smokey's being that far from it. I guess considering I've done Thai Lana from that area before that Chosun Ok and Vit Goal Tofu would be too far. Depends on how long a lunch you can take.

Thai China Buffet -- at 54/55 across the street from Mr.Wok and Jamaica Jamaica. I like the Pad woon sen and summer rolls. Just don't go right at noon when it's packed to the gills with other RTP workers.
