Does anyone know where to find molds to make tiny fruit shaped ice cream?
(like the ones available at a shop on St Clair)
Thanks

The place you are thinking of is CALLED St. Clair, but it is not on St. Clair, it's in the east end on Danforth at Kelvin. It's not clear to me at this point that they still sell the Ice Cream fruits, I've not seen them in a long time.

My understanding is that the molds they use(d) to make those were/are antiques from the 1920s when fruit shaped ice cream was quite popular for a short period.

There's a company in the Montreal area called D&R (dr.ca) that makes ice cream molds, they might be able to source something.

Note that this is a US web site, not clear to me if they can or will ship to Toronto. It's a company started by an ex-pat Torontonian in the late 80's.

My apologies - I had assumed that this was the 'original' Toronto operation, which had an almost identical 'fruit' line (except included a grape product). I guess I wasn't fully alert early this morning (or late last night).

The guy who sites next to me at the office's wife's family used to own part of this company apparently.
