We enjoy the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe..it's simple and elegant.
I've had good meals at Blue Fire Grill at La Costa Resort..summer on the patio with fireplace is a nice place to dine...love the massages and the Chopra center.
Rancho Valencia resort in RSF is nice too.
Hacienda de Vega in Escondido has a wonderful patio with a huge waterfall with live music and great Mexican food.
