Hungry as all get out. in Paris. in August.
I came to France with nothing planned, which was dumb, since it's August. A lot of stuff is closed! I'd like to eat lunch and dinner and I'll be hanging out a lot in the marais and 11e. I also want this trip to convince my fiance that we should move to Paris so any suggestions on how to do that with food would be appreciated!
I'd research things, but internet is costly! So, I thought I'd come to chow and see if anyone could recommend great lunch/dinner in marais and beyond!

Just returned from Paris a few weeks ago, and alas, I have given up my dream of my DH and I ever living in Paris. I am a foodie and wine snob, but also like my beer and seemed to be the only woman drinking it and this was during the hot heat wave. Also, my DH is way too casual of a clothes dresser for Paris. We ate sandwhiches in our hotel room our last Friday night in Paris because he only would go to dinner in his flip-flops and shorts. I was not going to be that humiliated no matter what, not even at an outside cafe :( Hope your Paris dreams come true for you!

re: souphie
That made me laugh! Thank you, and yes the DH can go but the beer issue is real. I love wine, but when it's 90+ degrees outside, I want a Kro64 with lunch. I tried the Picon biere, which looks a little better for a female to be drinking, but wasn't fond of that. Un demi, si vous plait!
