Am in town and want to go but am wondering is it possible to eat alone at the bar here? Also will I be able to order off the dinner menu or be limited to the bar menu, and can I just walk in, no reservation, since I am by myself?

Thanks for the info!

Okay, this is slightly more complicated than it should be.

Yes, it is possible to eat alone at the bar. I've done it. The bar is often very busy, so you may need to wait to grab a seat. This is survival of the fittest, the staff won't hold a seat for you.

Believe it or not, DBGB is restricted as to the number of bar seats it can provide. It gets around this restriction by offering custom-made bar stools (yes, high stools) which seat two people. So if you are eating alone at the bar, be prepared to share your seat.

You can also grab a table in the bar area, first come first served again. No reservations are taken for bar or the tables in the bar area.

I don't believe the dining room menu is offered at the bar. Reserving a table for one in the dining room shouldn't be too hard if that's what you want to order from.

You can order off of the full menu at the bar or one of the other first-come-first-serve tables in the lounge area.
