Removing Threads from Mychow

How do you remove threads to which you had contributed from Mychow?

  1. JoanN Aug 10, 2010 06:27 PM

You don't. Once you've posted to a thread it shows up on My Chow forever and ever. If, by chance, the mods delete your post in conjunction with another deleted post, it will no longer show up on My Chow. But it's not something you can do on your own and unless your request is extraordinarily compelling, it's not something the mods will do for you.

It's a great impetus for not posting to threads you think you're not going to want to see day in and day out for months. No better incentive for keeping silent and just moving on.

So true, JoanN. I try to resist those regional board, esp. Toronto for some reason. I always think they can order something which usually they can't. And, yes, after three loooooong years, I'm getting better at resisting those that I know I don't want to see and see and see. x,c

Too bad you could not resist this one :) I know I would rather not see this one again. It has been established that I cannot remove stuff from Mychow, so I would like to see this whole thread blown away.

Removing threads from your MyChow page isn't an option the software allows.
