m.chow.com issues for Opera user
What I have: Windows 6.5 Mobile phone running Opera Mini 5 set to view the non-mobile (standard HTML) view of websites.
1. Typing chowhound.com redirects to m.chow.com. Since Chow and Chowhound are separated onto their own territories with the site redesign, will the URL redirect be fixed to lead me to the Chowhound side of the fence?
2. Once on m.chow.com (see attached photo), link #2 that says Chowhound doesn't do anything while the other links to Restaurants & Bars, Videos Recipes, and Stories leads to content on Chow.com. This is also true from my desktop PC (Win Vista running Firefox), where I snagged the photo. m.chow.com was always pretty useless anyway for Chowhound users. Are there plans to make it work, or maybe just do away with it?
3. If I type in the entire URL from my phone of say, the Los Angeles board http://chowhound.chow.com/boards/2 then Opera leads me to the standard HTML view of the L.A. board. Which is fine, but I don't think the average Opera user wants or knows to type in the whole URL to get to there.
These behaviors don't happen in mobile version of IE. When I type "chowhound.com" in IE, it leads me to http://chowhound.com/boards What's up with this?
