Cafe Casal (Inman) has reopened

A quick heads-up - Cafe Casal (Cambridge St. near Webster Ave, in Inman Square) has reopened. According to a sign the owners are the same as before. It looks like they've done some remodeling (although the awnings outside are still pretty battered...) I stopped in today and picked up some decent coxinhas and pao de queijo. They also have have typical American-style pastries, coffee and juice, etc.

Thanks for the update. How long ago did they close? Was it sometime last year?

This report was very close to when they shut down last year.

The for lease sign mentioned (between the bakery outlet and cafe doors) doesn't actually have any correlation to the closing. It had been there for perhaps up to a year at the time they closed the doors and could be something else altogether. It would be interesting though if they have since removed it (and obviously if there have been changes in their product).

Thanks, itaunas. I thought it had been in the fall, but wasn't positive.
