Bryan / College Station - anything can't miss?

I'm in the midst of trip planning (and can't search the board for some reason, site error) and wondering what's new, or continues to be noteworthy in and around B/CS?

My parents are coming down with us (we're dropping my 1st born into the hands of the Corps of Cadets in - my gods - a week and a half) and they have been having a run of bad restaurant karma - you know how it goes, places that were great a year ago are condemnable now, or once known for their fish are suddenly the place to find a great burger... so you find after you order the fish.

So recent experiences would be great - anything from grab & go to casually upscale are welcome.

I just moved here but one casual, order-at-the counter place that I have enjoyed is Shiraz Shish Kabob: http://www.shirazshishkabob.com/

I like the kabobs, the shiraz salad, the baba ganouj, and the flat bread. You can ask them to add zaresh (small tangy dried berries) to the rice - not listed on the menu - goes very well with the chicken.
