One night in ABQ

We are spending the last night of our vacation in ABQ before heading home to VT - and were hoping to have one last really good send off dinner. Am interested in local foods that are clean and bright. We'll eat any style as long as it is well prepared. Less interested in ambiance - more interested in quality. Any suggestions?

Jennifer james would be my choice. Local foods but not New Mexican cuisine.

If you are less willing to drive I recommend slate street cafe.

Hi there--Do you have a car? Where are you staying? I ask because one of my favorite places for traditional with a twist is Casa Vieja in Corrales. They are also dedicated to locally grown food and the building is a centuries old adobe. Corrales is just north of Albuquerque. If you're staying on the north side of town it's not so bad but if you're in the heights it's a haul.
