Hey folks, I live in the slope and can go to dinner anywhere that's a 30 minute drive or less. Where should I go?

Piattini in Bay Ridge is an overlooked gem. They specialize in small plates, as suggested by the restaurant's name, and southern Italian cooking. Very authentic, very high quality. I also like the Good Fork in Red Hook - you can combine that with a drive to one of the piers to get a nice look at the harbor after dinner.

There are alot of options, depends on what type of food and environment you are interested in. Just a few options could include:

Brooklyn's Chinatown - Metro Cafe is good
Middle Eastern in Bay Ridge - Tanoreen is an option
      Dresslers in Williamsburg
Any of the excellent pizza options in Brooklyn - Di Faras, Lucalis, Motorino ... there are more.

There are too many possibilities to list, in too many neighborhoods worth exploring

575 Henry St, Brooklyn, NY 11231

      7523 3rd Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11209

319 Graham Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11211

FYI-Tanoreen is going on vacation in August. I think they'll be closed 8/23-9/2. Double check. I may have the dates wrong. Also Sally & George (another good option) is also going on vacation.

BTW, I'd leave the car home and just take the R train (if it's running) or the B63. Parking is just as bad as Park Slope.
