Lunch in Redding

We will be stopping in Redding on our way to Ashland. Any suggestions for lunch?

    I'm wondering the same thing too! Dinner as well! I noticed NO ONE has written anything positive about this place. I've heard of an Italian spot called Nello's Place. I'll be watching for replies as well!

      I just gave a response to a very similar question a week ago. I don't think there's any place in town that's knock-your-socks-off stellar, but there's lots of very good chow for lunch.

      It helps if you have an idea of what type of cuisine you're seeking. One place I forgot in my other response was Pho Saigon - only been there twice, but loved it both times.

        I thought I would update this in case anyone is searching. There is a newish place - over a year- available as a very good lunch option. It has very fresh and healthy options - salads, fresh soups, sandwiches, bison burgers... A very good option for lunch in Redding, but not super easy to find.

          grilla bites must be a mini chain. I thought it was an invention of someone here in the Rogue Valley, but it turns out to be based in Chico.
