We will be stopping in Redding on our way to Ashland. Any suggestions for lunch?

I'm wondering the same thing too! Dinner as well! I noticed NO ONE has written anything positive about this place. I've heard of an Italian spot called Nello's Place. I'll be watching for replies as well!

Just yelped Nello's and it only open for dinner.

I just gave a response to a very similar question a week ago. I don't think there's any place in town that's knock-your-socks-off stellar, but there's lots of very good chow for lunch.

It helps if you have an idea of what type of cuisine you're seeking. One place I forgot in my other response was Pho Saigon - only been there twice, but loved it both times.

I thought I would update this in case anyone is searching. There is a newish place - over a year- available as a very good lunch option. It has very fresh and healthy options - salads, fresh soups, sandwiches, bison burgers... A very good option for lunch in Redding, but not super easy to find.

grilla bites must be a mini chain. I thought it was an invention of someone here in the Rogue Valley, but it turns out to be based in Chico.
