No Reservations - Where it all began

My favorite episode ever. Most of the credit has to go to the documentary. plus sesing the Gieco caveman comercial with the guys from Deadliest Catch was a bonus.

I had given up on No Reservations and Tony Bourdain in general, but something caused me to watch this episode. I was struck by how much Tony had changed in just 10 years.

I was most struck by the difference between the guy at the end claiming that he was turning down everything because he was sick of doing media compared to the present-day guy who is nothing but media.

I guess that means the show didn't change my opinion.

It felt like a TV adaptation of "Kitchen Confidential".
