I was there with the family in March. Food was very good, but not great. A notch below Kitchen A Bistro/Panama Hatties. Desserts were exceptional. But it's very noisy - a real "scene."

Do you think Honu would be better?

Haven't been since the last revamping.

For a special spot, I'd recommend Mosaic and Kitchen A Bistro. Not in Huntington, though. In Huntington, I'd say Cafe Buenos Aires

Or Panama Hatties. I love the new iteration of Honu; didn't care much for the others.
FYI, Kitchen a Bistro is cash only, and BYOB for lunch or any time without corkage. It's in St. James.

Made a return trip here, not having revisited since soon after it opened when it was good but did not make us mad to go back.

Last night we had a wonderful meal there, w/ very professional service.

We shared apps of skillet roasted octopus with chorizo and a baby arugual salad with shaved parmesan and an excellent lemon vinaigrette. I had the entree of colorado lamb cooked perfectly med/rare Colorado Lamb over Cumin Scented Eggplant Puree w Sautéed Artichokes w/ Grappa
Soaked Fried Grapes and a declicious Pistachio Mint Pesto. Mr. MCF had perfectly pan seared Alaskan halibut with lobster risotto (big lobster chunks), yuzu vinaigrette and shaved truffles.

We both loved every dish. We skipped dessert.

Definitely worth a visit if you've never been, or a revisit if like us, you were okay with it, but not wowed earlier on.
