My visits to The Polo Lounge were more frequent, and enjoyable, when the patio was still cigar-friendly. “The Boys” used to meet-up there back when. As it is now, I’ve only been once this year.
Still, TPL offers an elegant, highbrow dining experience. The patio is a delightful lunch/brunch setting when the weather is accommodating. Food is very good and the service, as to be expected, is old school excellent. Likewise, the bartenders are notably competent. I especially enjoy their Caesar salad followed by the lamb chops and their pear cobbler for dessert. The scallops are superb as are the crab cakes. They also serve up solid cheese plates and desserts.
