beef short rib in Chinatown?

Does anybody in Chinatown make a good beef short rib? I'm thinking maybe 1/2" thick boneless slices (not thin shabu, nor kalbi steaks), roasted or braised with lots of marbling. Thanks!

  1. Cantonese style Chinese food is meant for food to be as bite-sized (or at least easily picked up with chopsticks), so I rarely ever see thick cuts of meat. The only short ribs I see are the thinly sliced ones used in stir-fries.

yes i've only had the thick sliced boneless short rib in Shanghai, it was amazing though, would love to find it around here

    2. I don't know of anyone in Chinatown, but Chili Garden in Medford has awesome spicy beef short ribs.
