Recommendations of Indian, Mexican, Vegetarian, Chinese in Scarborough?

I'm never in Scarborough but I am likely going to be there next weekend near Port Union and Lawrence. I noticed Fredrick's isn't too far away but I'd like another few options. I particularly like veg and seafood dishes.

Go to Silver Spoon (Steeles and McCowan). They have the best Biryani!! My mom (from Lucknow) swears by it.

Ediblle.....this is becoming the bain of your existance. Gotta move to Montreal where you can bring your own. What's a vegetarian wino to do these days to get some wine with his/her curry?

You're so right. I feel horribly repetitive posting this same lament all the time. I even emailed the Saravanaa Bhavan and they seem to serve wine in Vancouver location but not here! Liquor licenses must be atrociously expensive in Toronto...

Anjappar Chettinad is a good south Indian restaurant in Scarborough. I particularly like their Poondu Kozhambu (whole garlic curry).
