I think Vin de Set is amazing and has a great rustic upscale menu. Great view on the roof top bar of the Arch. Dinner is a great dining experience. You can also try their sister restaurant, 1111 Mississippi. Both restaurants are fabulous.

If you like sushi, go no further than the lobby of the Ritz. They make sushi while bands play in the lobby.
Good sushi also available at Miso On Meramec. It's in Clayton, you can walk from the Ritz.
And the only place I have ever had Cambodian food is the House of Wong; also in Clayton.
There are tons of restaurants in Clayton.

This is such an incredibly broad request--how can one begin to reply? Where are you staying? What kind of food are you looking for? What is your budget? hill food is correct: there are numerous threads on different kinds of foods. We'll be glad to help you out, but it's just a bit tough to narrow things down from some 2,500 restaurants in town without a bit more guidance.
