ISO pots for bringing plants indoors
The pots I had my fig and bay leaves in have cracked this year. I am looking for faux terracotta (not the thin Walmart kind) or faux aged cement pots (thicker, fiberglass or other material). I need LARGE ones. I have a 10 ft palm tree in one I purchased last year at a local nursery and it is heavy duty even though it is fake, but they no longer stock them.
I have looked online at Frontgate, but I am not willing to spend several hundreds of dollars on one pot.
Any suggestions?
We use the giant resin pots for a lot of our trees and yes, they can be pricey. Be prepared to wince when you purchase them. We got ours from Home Depot and Lowes where they were MUCH less than Frontgate and other fancy catalogs that offer cool look-alike pots. Our patio peaches are in 18"w x 17"t resin behemoth pots that sit on saucers with wheels so we can roll them into the garage when frost threatens. The figs still in pots are in smaller versions on the same saucer dollies. The pots when empty are extremely light but still weigh a ton when planted so the dollies are a godsend. We were moving them with a hand truck which was just unsatisfactory.
I really like the pots we got. They look like aged terra cotta and cement, molded in age flaws and all!

I am going to take s look again at Home Depot and will check out Lowe's when I am in a neighboring town. Yours sound perfect. The one I bought last year has a 31" diameter which is perfect for my giant plant.
