One Night in Hong Kong
Wrapping up a tour of Southeast Asia, my wife will have one night in Hong Kong. We've been there a couple of times and know the city has some amazing food to sample. We'd love to get some recommendations. Here are a few things to consider:
1. Our flight doesn't land until 7:30 pm, so it will likely be 9:30 or so before we can be at a restaurant.
2. We don't yet have a hotel, so we are not limited as far as location. However, it would be preferable to be in an area of the city that is near the train station headed to the airport (our flight is relatively early the next morning).
3. We're looking for great Chinese/HK food and nothing formal. While price is not really a concern, we don't want to pay for the cost of the dining room. Food quality is the most important. Also, we are the opposite of picky eaters.
4. We've heard about cooks in HK opening their homes for a homestyle meal, which would be a great option. However, since we will arrive so late, that may be difficult to accomplish. To the extent relevant, we'll be in town on a Tuesday night.
Any recommendations are greatly appreciated.
