Best Sushi in Manhattan?

I've just moved back to NYC after nearly a year away and am enjoying re-connecting with my favorite spots as well as discovering new ones. I'm a huge Japanese foodie (including, but not limited to Sushi) and was wondering what you'd pick as your "Top 5" i.e. the best sushi you've had in Manhattan (and maybe Brooklyn). Some of my top picks are BondSt, Jewel Bako and Blue Ribbon, but I realize that all of these are more "trendy" and not necessarily the best in terms of the actual Sushi. Would love to hear recommendations!
