Greek food in DEN

What do you all recommend? Seems as though every place gets mixed reviews—Monaco Inn, Yanni's, Melita's...Athenian seems to be well liked...Been to Pete's Central One and didn't think it was as awful as some. Anyway, thoughts?

I personally like the Phoenician Kabob on East Colfax (about Ivy). It's more Lebanese than Greek, but they have awesome hummus, great gyros, wonderful kabobs. Well really anything there is terrific.

Agreed! But as you say it's more Lebanese. I'm talking taramosalata and skordalia, pastitsio and moussaka, lots of fish dishes, etc.

I can't say the food is amazing, but I always enjoy Chef Zorbas on e12th ave between elizabeth and Clayton. Food is fine, neighborhood scene from patio is great.
