Toasted Pheasant Bistro (Carrollwood)

I have been seeing a lot of advertising for the Toasted Pheasant Bistro (in Carrollwood) and was wondering if anyone has any thoughts on the place. I checked out the menu online and it seems like pretty straight-forward French bistro fare, nothing out of this world but comfort food at decent prices. I was just curious if anyone has had a positive experience there before making the jaunt from Pinellas. Any love it or hate it recommendations would be great, thanks!

It wasn't bad but there are a lot of places I'd recommend more than that if you're hiking out from Pinellas. Blu FIGS for one, and it's right in that same area.

Its a nice little place, I live in the area and like it for lunch. Food is well thought out and tasty. Not too bad with prices, esp if you get a restaurant.com gift certificate :)

Just back from a great dinner there. The food is very tasty, the menu is large with a variety of choices, and the service is very very attentive. Our server was making sure that my family with 2 kids not only had a great meal but a fun experience as well.

If you go, ask for a chef's table - it is adjacent to the kitchen and chef Peter makes frequent stops to chat. You can see all the food being made and have your plates served strait from the kitchen. We even had a tour back with the chef showing us how the pasta is made for one of our dishes.

      Definitely worth the trip.
