Dinner in the 9th or the 18th next week?
Now that I have learned that next week is the quietest week of the year in Paris, I'm trying to come up with a list of several possibilities for dinner in the 9th or the 18th (we are staying with a friend r. de Clignancourt). Any suggestions welcome - no preference for price or style of cuisine - just good food - and open!

Sorry to be a bit late here but I live not too far away from the Rue de Clignancourt and as I've said too many times, one can be anywhere in Paris in 40 Min by Metro and in August also by car. I'd search for August openings here and elsewhere on the web; there are a lot of opportunities.

Good food and open everyday , try Villa Spicy.
They are serving a good food, not too expensive (around 40-50 EUR) and they are close to the Champs-Elysees. If you don(t like it, you will find plenty of opened restaurant near.

I live in the 9th and am not sure about the closing of the restos in August. Every resto has a different policy.
My two faves are Carte Blanche and Pétrelle. 37m2 is also nice, with a Malay south seas bend. Good satays. You can try to call them. The one I know is open all August is Q-Tea, an excellent Chinese place. The new Spring is also open. It is also doing its August lobster roll Saturday again. But it is not in the 9th or 18th.
