Anyone ever tried this creamy tomato sauce recipe?

I'm looking to make a creamy tomato sauce for pasta and chicken and happened upon this recipe today. What do you all think? It's kinda different with the mascarpone but that's similar to cream cheese....right???

    I never make a cooked tomato sauce without sauteeing some tomato paste into it. Any kind of cream, ricotta, cream cheese, creme fraiche, or mascarpone will work. Use a light hand with the dairy at first - you can always add more.
