We had the best oysters over at Bar Avignon during HH (M-F 4-6) for $1 each. Doesn't appear on their online menu, so best if you call to make sure.
I also remember that Fenouil also had good oysters during HH as well.

M-Sat. 4-6:30pm - half shells with Cucumber, Pickled Shallot, and Smoked Steelhead Trout Roe - $1ea.ten-01 and belly used to both have oysters on the HH menus, but they no longer do.
Understand that this is not really oyster season. Although the triploid farmed stock are just fine year round, diploid oysters breed when the water gets warmer, making them a bit mushy and murky and not anywhere near their best (but not at all dangerous) for eating. If you have the choice, choose the ones from the coldest waters available this time of year.
This is the time of year when you plant/set your stock (or when they do it naturally themselves in those beds where they do so), I believe. I have been following Taylor Shellfish Farms on Facebook, and it is interesting to hear about the seed events they have (hey, oysters filter the water they live in, healthy oysters means clean water - lots of folks in the Hood Canal area put their own sets in for harvest like growing stuff in a garden or raising chickens!).
That said, I eat 'em year round, anyway. ;o)
