Lunch celebration with co-workers near Corcoran?

I and four co-workers want to celebrate a birthday by going to lunch near the Corcoran gallery (17th and E NW) - we are good with entrees in the $12 to $15 range. Any suggestions? Thanks!

How about G Street Foods? I got lunch from there for the first time today and I thought it was great! More casual though since you order at the counter etc. But there are lots of vegeterian options.

Nirvana is gone and there is a 'Nirvana Express,' that is much smaller and simpler in the underground food court at K St and 17th St NW. It's also cheaper.

G Street is one of our regular places. We're going to try Potenza. Thanks, all!

Oh, we'd want places that are vegetarian-friendly! Thanks!

Nirvana is a vegetarian Indian place not too far away.

            Oh no, that's bad news!!

For a casual option you could go to G Street Foods, close walk.

Or Potenza for Italian on the other side of the White House

Nirvana closed recently. I believe they are going to reopen under a different name and concept. But they are closed for now.
