Restaurants Recs Needed

bobygee Aug 4, 2010 04:46 AM

I will be in Seattle for a couple days staying at the Four Seasons. I would like several dinner recommnedations where dining alone is no issue. I enjoy any type of cuisine, but unfortunately I am on a limited budget of about $50 max per dinner including drinks. Assistance is appreciated.

For dining alone, you need good company at the bar. Four good candidates are: The Palace Kitchen, Matt's at the Market, the Steelhead Diner and Quinn's. All have engaging staff who can banter with you during your meal. You may also meet fellow travelers with very interesting stories. Be gregarious and enjoy!

I agree with Leper, but would add Blueacre to the list (sister to Steelhead). Went there last night for the first time and am pretty high on them right now. Also for a fun single place you should try 13 Coins, one of Seattle's longest running places. Decent food, sit at the bar in front of the cooks; lots of fun.

I would consider Spur, the bartenders are wonderfula nd the food is great.
