SOMA Whole Foods' horrible remodel -- where to get takeout lunch in SOMA?
Not so into the Whole Foods SOMA remodel with its disorganized cattle lines to the register. And it's doubly horrible at lunch time.
I'd love to hear where other hounds (would) go in the area roughly Mission to Brannan and Second to Fifth to get lunch to go...
Thanks!

re: Windy
Thanks -- great list! I've been to Epicenter and tried their hummus on bagel and chicken pesto toasted sandwich and both were really tasty. Coffee is great too. Wouldn't call it quiet though, with the buzz of lots of customers and music playing.
Will check out WF again. I was scared off a week ago so maybe it has settled since.
Looking forward to trying Moya on Folsom near Sixth too.

I don't have a problem with the new line up. I find I'm out the door much, much faster. In fact, I wish more stores would follow suit and queue people the same way. Now I don't get stuck behind a slow checker or payer. I've been there at lunchtime 3x in the past 2 weeks and not had a problem yet.
