Inn at Little Washington v. Citronelle (choice, and seating reccomendations)

I'm choosing between Citronelle and and the Inn at Little Washington for a wedding anniversary dinner (4 years) later this month. I was a longtime DC resident until 7 years ago (until moving to northern California) and visited both on numerous happy and very memorable occasions. Some reviews seem to suggest that the service at IALW has slipped, and I'm concerned that MR may be concentrating on his new eponymous place, or his many other interests.

Also, I would appreciate your suggested table request for a romantic meal.

Thanks in advance!

Was just at the Inn 6 weeks ago for the 8th time and thought it was great. Food and service were top notch.

Last time we were there was June, innovative and refreshing as always. For a real special occasion, book the chef's table in the kitchen, the service is more than over the top and the interaction with the cooking line staff is a much or as little as you want. The entry "pagent" is very cool.

Thanks! Are you referring to IALW or Citronelle?

Oh, sorry The Inn, Patrick O'connell has not lost his imagination or creative touch, even though Patrick and his partner who ran the "hotel rooms, and the private retreat have parted company.
