Is there any Frozen Lemonade in Boston?

So I moved to Boston from RI over a year ago, and this summer I am really, really missing frozen lemonade. Any Rhode Islanders reading this will surely sympathize. There's just something about the tart/sweet slush, ideally tempered with the occasional bitter chunk of lemon rind, that makes it the single most refreshing beverage I have ever tasted.

It seems that with Boston so close, there MUST be one or two enterprising entrepreneurs that have imported this delicacy from the Ocean State. Has anyone spotted any?

I assume you are talking about Dels. I have only ever seen it at the Rhode Island Hall at Big E in Springfield. Other than that im clueless. Try the web site

Not the same but could tide you over in some aspects...Panera is doing a strawberry lemonade (frozen) that is not too sweet

Sounds very similar to lemon granita. You might try looking for that...

can't help you with the lemonade but if that's what you like, you might also enjoy some of the (alcoholic) house Swedish punsch at places like Drink, Craigie etc.

As a Rhode Islander who lived in Boston for the last 5 years because of college/grad school, I never found anything even resembling Del's. Slush lemonades just don't really exist here. I have found a random outpost of Del's in Bridgewater, but that's about it.

Don't know if they do this at all locations, but Au Bon Pain in the Hood bottle at the Children's museum sells frozen lemonade - $1.95 for a large. Had some last week - not bad, but no Del's.

Never tried it, but looks like Panera also has frozen lemonade.

I recall seeing a frozen lemonade at Machu Picchu's Charcoal Chicken & Grill of all places. I can't say if this is similar to the RI version, but it looked refreshing.

Good news, Celeriac. Del's has a stand every Sunday at the SOWA Open Market in the South End.

Fukui San!! You are my hero, god bless you. I will also try Machu Picchu's, because that's way closer to my hosue and if it were passable that would be amazing.

( I will also also pause to say that while Del's is certainly the gold standard, there are other decent and reputable purveyor's of frozen lemonade in RI. But yes, Del's the the benchmark.)
