Sonoma and Napa Valley in 5 days

Hello,

My husband and I are planning a trip to Wine Country at the end of this month. We plan on touring Sonoma Valley from Healdsburg to Sonoma over the course of three 3 days and Napa, from Calistoga to Napa in two days. Our plan is to stay in St. Helena and visit the northern part of Napa on day one and then visit the southern part of Napa on day two. Is this a realistic plan? Is it possible to visit the Calistoga/St.Helena area in one day and the rest during a second day? Does anyone have any advice on how to get the most out of a two day stay in Napa Valley?

Thank you!!

My wife and I have been to Napa seven times and we always stay in Calistoga. St. Helena to Calistoga in one day and the rest in a second day is reasonable. As for wineries, we have found it is best to share tastings. You get to taste a greater variety of wines and don't get drunk. For food, we love Gillwoods in St. Helna for breakfast, and the Prime Rib French Dip @ Rutherfords grill is wonderful for lunch.

Are there any specific wineries or restaurants you plan on going to?
