Boston Hound: Proper Pimms Cup? Help narrowing a Friday dinner plan?

My wife and I have a wedding next Saturday in NYC, and will be staying at the Omni on 52nd/Madison, arriving on Friday. It will be our first weekend away from our 7 month old, so for Friday night we would like to have a quiet, relaxing, Chow-memorable dinner. We usually hit one of Batali’s places, and last year did Jean-Georges, but this time would like to try something different and in the vicinity of the hotel. I haven’t had a whole lot of time to research, but below are some places that stand out from the "theater district" searches I’ve done. Any thoughts, or other options, would be much appreciated.

Anthos
Oceana
Vice Versa
Milos
Aureole
Eleven Madison Park (not really near the hotel, and probably can’t get a reservation, but it seems like it should be on the short list)

And pre-dinner, my wife is looking for a proper Pimms Cup. Diced cucumbers, fruit, mint, etc. Ubiquitous in the UK, but if such a thing exists in Boston we have not come across it.

Thanks!

    Thanks everyone!

For dinner, I totally forgot about Le Bernardin, so thanks to fm1963 for reminding me. We have become big Eric Ripert fans in the last year based on various TV appearances, so that is where we are going. I am starting a separate post for any thoughts/suggestions on our meal strategy.

Oh! If you go to menupages.com, there's a find a food search function at the top of the page, I typed in Pimm's and found a handful of restaurants who have a Pimm's cup on the menu.

Spotted Pig makes a decent one with cucumbers and ginger, no fruit/mint. It was a little too ginger-y for me -- I missed the lemon notes.

The Breslin does a take off on the Pimm's cup with grapes and prosecco, which I loved.

I have had a Pimm's cup at Bar Americain but it was during brunch. However I'm sure they would make it for you any time of the day. It's pretty close to your hotel too.
My only comment about your restaurant choices - I would say Anthos is not really worth a visit. Been there a few times and it's nothing worth writing home about.

            Other chow-memorable possibilities near 52nd/Madison:

            Le Bernardin
The Modern Dining Room (or Bar Room)
            La Grenouille
            Alto

For Pimm's Cup, it's on the cocktail menu at Employees Only, indeed with cucumbers, mint, etc..
