gluten-free in north/central NJ?

A family member was just diagnosed with celiac disease, and I'm looking for restaurants in north or central NJ that can accommodate us. I'm aware of the major chains that have gluten-free menus, but I'd also love to hear about independent gems that were able to accommodate you without a problem. Thanks!

I'm not sure what you consider north/central nj so I won't make a specific recommendation. I usually check this site when I'm looking if there are any new gluten free restaurants in NJ: http://glutenfreedairyfreenj.blogspot.... They definitely have a lot of options in what I'd consider north/central.

Not sure if this is in the area that you are looking in, but Janice in HoHoKus has many great g/f options. There's also Pizza Fusion in Ridgewood that offers great g/f pizza.

My wife also has celiac... Try Za in Pennington and the Blue Bottle in Hopewell. Both have special notations on their menus indicating which dishes are gluten free. Also be sure to check out www.myglutenfreenj.com There are alot of resources available.
