A lot more than a pizza place, but awesome paperthin crust pizza is Trattoria Del'rte.
Also Delizia Pizza, your typical pizza place both UES locations have private areas/back rooms

The original Patsy's in East Harlem has beautiful private rooms and a great coal fired oven. It's at 2287 First Avenue between 117 and 118 streets.You won't be disappointed.

Arturo's on Houston has 2 sections... depending on your budget and day of the week you may be able to reserve the 2nd section for your group.
I happen to think their pizza is outstanding.

You don't state a budget, so I can't tell if you want a pizza joint or a restaurant that also happens to serve pizza. If it's the latter Otto does large groups and I think Peasant might as well in their downstairs room.

About five years ago we reserved the roof in Lombardis for about 20 , maybe 25 people. It was great and pretty inexpensive.
