Where to find cocktail bitters
Hello there fellow hounds!
I am about 24 hours away from starting a weeklong trip to your city and was wondering where I might be able to find a decent selection of bitters for purchase by fee bros or the bitter truth?
I'm also in search of any good craft cocktail spots that you think I should try.
Thanks in advance!

The Violet Hour is our premier place for craft cocktails. It gets really really busy on weekends, so you might plan it for a weeknight. Be aware that there are no signs on the outside, and the entrance doorway is camouflaged and easy to miss. www.theviolethour.com

I was just at Binny's on Marcy St., they have 7 or 8 varieties of Fee Bros. bitters.

Binny's is a large chain of liquor stores here, with 24 locations all over the city and suburbs. www.binnys.com

Awesome, thanks all!
I googled this afternoon and came up with a place called Drinks Over Dearborn or something to that effect - it sounds like they might have bitters too, but I was already going to go to Binny's for some St Germain, so that's great!

If you're into Tiki at all, don't miss Trader Vic's on State St. in the Gold Coast area.

yes- Drinks over Dearborn does have a wide selection of bitters. If you're in the area- it's a cute place to stop by and check out.
Besides the Violet Hour, I also highly recommend the Drawing Room which has very creative cocktails as well and they'll even come mix your drinks tableside.
