Bridal Luncheon in Cambridge or western suburbs
I am in the process of trying to find a location to host a bridal luncheon the day before my wedding for the women in my life. I was initially hoping to go to Susu's in Wellesley and that might still work, except I was hoping to have mimosa's which I am pretty sure they don't serve. It got me thinking of if there are other options. There will be between 10-14 ladies around 11:30am on a Friday. I am hoping for something light, either sandwiches and salads or quiche, scones, etc. and preferably with either plenty of space so we are not crowded or a semi-private room. Anything in the North Cambridge, Belmont, Watertown, Arlington, Newton, Needham, Wellesley area. Thanks in advance!

I love this restaurant. My husband and I go there all the time for lunch and he often comments how he's usually the only man there.................it's kinda where ladies go to lunch. LOL
They have a private room which I'm sure, if booked in advance, they will be able to accomodate your party.
My favorite.............The Waldorf Chicken Salad.

After getting no response from Susu's for several weeks, I canned that idea completely. I went to Upstairs but they too never got back to me when I had additional questions. They provided an initial response with quote but then went AWOL when I asked a follow-up question. I couldn't find AKA bistro... I also looked at Henrietta's and Harvest in Cambridge, but in the end decided to go with The Tea Leaf in Waltham. It is affordable ($22 pp for full tea service) and is not rigid about having tea service at off-tea hours (as all the hotels I contacted were). Best of all, I have had no problem getting responses from them and the customer service so far has been superb. Thanks for the ideas!
