Botticelli Cafe

On my list of favorite places in Seattle for sandwiches, I used to recommend Botticelli Café for its panini. But that was years and years and years ago. Then, for some reason, Botticelli fell off my radar. I have no idea how many times, if any, it has changed ownership over the years, or what the quality of the panini is like these days. It is incredible (it used to be), good, so-so, or worse?

  1. Zero responses! I guess this place is not just off my radar, but off the radar of most other Chowhounds as well.

I'd never heard of it until you posted. And I work downtown!

It is still really good. They have a pannini with hot coppa that I absolutely crave. I couldn't stop eating it for lunch last winter.

      2. where was it located?

        2. I was actually on my way to Botticelli a couple of weeks ago, for the first time in years. I turned one street too early and discovered that the uptown Zaina had been reborn (sans hookah bar) at just about the same location on Pine as Botticelli is on Steward.

So I can't tell you anything about the panini, but I did have some great falafel.
