Best Fish Tacos in Pasadena

What are the very best fish tacos in Pasadena? I'm open to anything from trucks on the side of the road to chains to upscale dining!

If you're willing to venture a bit east of Pasadena, the new-ish Tacos Ensenada on Huntington in Duarte has mind-bendingly good fish (and shrimp) tacos. It's now my go-to place for fish tacos in the Pasadena/SGV area.

(To be fair, though, it's about as far to the east of central Pasadena as East LA is to the southwest, so ... your mileage may vary, in more ways than one)

I like Senor Fish in South Pasadena, plus a few others. Used to always get their shrimp burritos, but like their scallop tacos too.

Call me crazy, but I like Wahoo's.

I actually like Rubio's... for "high end" fish tacos, I like the swordfish tacos at Le Grande Orange

Read Anthony Bourdain's book "Kitchen Confidential" and you will never eat swordfish again.

Work in a kitchen and you may never eat at a restaurant again.

Bourdain sheds nothing new in either of his books about food prep, or the supposed queasiness of food prep.

I think wahoo's has a much better product than Rubio's, and can hold its own against many other competitors in the region.
But you must eat it hot, don't let it get cold by taking it away, etc.

The fish tacos at Dona Rosa are decent. Especially with some of their habanero salsa added.

I happen to like those at La Estrella - various locations.

You recently recommended the ones at El Metate, too!
