Interesting version of an Oki Dog.
Last night I was at the Pershing Square Wednesday night summer concert show. Last year there were several food vendors, but this year there was only one. It was a food truck called the Place.
I looked at the menu selections and figured a burrito is a safe bet and they are usually big and filling. I asked the young lady taking the orders what ingredients were in the Place burrito. The band playing was loud so I only caught part of the description, but it sounded vaguely like the Oki Dog; chili, franks, pastrami wrapped in a tortilla. Maybe it was my hunger, but it seemed like a vastly improved Oki Dog. The frank was salty as most are. It's rare I even eat an Oki Dog andI haven't eaten an Oki Dog in probably a year, but this was better to my taste buds. It was also not as huge as the original, but I'd be interested if anyone else has tried it. Apparently they have 2 trucks and so I didn't ask which truck it was. Also they didn't seem to twitter they were in Pershing Square last night.

Fab is in Reseda. See the Google map at http://www.fabhotdogs.com/Location.html , which, incidentally, shows the old location label as well as a marker for the new location. Google will eventually change its Reseda map, but in the meantime Fab might want to do a little Photoshopping to eliminate any possible confusion.
