Taste of Hartford- Max Downtown
We had a wonderful meal tonight at Max Downtown.
We added on oysters and shrimp cocktail to start.
I had the Rosedale Gazpacho with crisy basil that was delicous
My husband had the BLT salad. It was good but not overly memorable.
I had the parmesan crusted Murray Chicken. It was very good, not dry and very flavorful.
My husband had the Shrimp and Anduille kebob. He enjoyed it as well. Although he said my corn and blackbean salsa was better :)
Dessert was Health bar brownie sundae and Berry and White chocolate parfait. Both good but again, not overly memorable.
Our sever was excellent. Asked if we were interested in the Taste menu, which was already inside the menu, and was very attentive.
Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. We had a lovely meal, not one to rave about, but one that was very good. We have eaten at every Max restaurant, numerous times, but this was our first time at Max Downtown. We will be back.
