Broken English?

How's the food? Worth a visit? Or does it not compare to Lunetta/Noodle Pooding? Grazie

  1. I ate there last night. It was ok. I had the rabbit, which I thought was good. My wife had a pasta she didn't like much. We had 8 around the table and everyone seemed satisfied with their meal but nobody was thrilled.

I'm not a fan of Lunetta (based on one visit) and I've never been to Noodle Pudding. I think there are better options in the area so I doubt I'll go back to Broken English, but it's a nice space and has a really good vibe so I wouldn't warn anyone off, especially for a date or for bringing family or out of towners that aren't obsessed food, which was serviceable.

    One man's opinion.

    1. I was very underwhelmed by Broken English. My indifferently prepared pasta (rigatoni with sauce) was indifferently piled on my plate.

Based on my experience and that of Eat It, Broken English does not seem to be in the same ballpark as Lunetta or Noodle Pudding.

      1. I went here with a few of my girlfriends a couple of weeks back. We did not have a good experience, and I would recommend anyone thinking about going to not bother - save your time and money. The service was extrememly slow and clueless. We ordered each ordered an appetizers and a salad and there was atleast a 40min wait in between courses. The restaurant was not full (there was one large party) and at one point we asked for the check before the second course because we were so frustrated and not even hungry anymore. The manager never touched our table we were charged in full for everything. Not best practices for a new restaurant. Not to mention the design is quite generic, and the lighting is poorly placed.
