Tribeca Green Market (farmers' market): http://www.cenyc.org/tribecagreenmarket
    Schedule: Saturdays Year-round, Wednesdays April 7 - December 22, 8am - 3pm.

I'm mourning the loss of Bouley Bakery & Market, but we still have Duane Park Patisserie, Grandaisy Bakery, Le Pain Quotidien, and the new Takahachi Bakery. Or go to one of the Financier Patisseries (3 different locations) in Battery Park or the Financial District.

    Takahachi Bakery

Locanda Verde: the cafe part not the main restaurant sells baked goods by the pastry chef of the restaurant, with lots of daily specials
      Kaffe 1668: coffee
RBC: coffee, Zabar's sandwiches, Bouchon Bakery pastries, and Downtown Cookie Co. cookies
La Colombe: coffee, I really like their iced coffee because they include a shot or two of espresso, pain au chocolat and olive oil pound cake
Columbine: daily dessert specials including an insanely popular whoopie pie
