Group Birthday Dinner In RI

I'm trying to plan a surprise 30th birthday dinner, which includes a group of about 15 people. Looking for something basically anywhere in RI that's nice, but not extremely fancy. The group is pretty laid back and enjoys a wide variety of foods. A good beer/wine menu would be a plus.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Caffe Itri, in Cranston, has great Italian and a killer, well-priced wine list. The decor is ho hum, but everything else has always been awesome. It's definitely in your budget and has a fun, comfortable, bustling environment.

That's funny, I just went to Cafe Itri and I liked it very much. I can also recommend RiRa in Providence,, the upscale Irish pub, that's got a fun atmosphere. On Federal Hill, I like Pane e Vino and Casserino's has an upstairs room for small gatherings

We're not looking for anything too fancy. About $20/$30 or so per entree.
