Thai Stories - Woodbrige, CT

Anyone been? Saw an ad in the Advocate. Website pics (gallery) look wonderful--food and atmosphere. Let us know.

  1. I went there for takeout, though did like the atmosphere. Had lunch specials, the beef hot basil was bland, and had little basil flavor, the tofu massaman curry, though ordered mild was spicy, maybe a language issue as only one of the two people working the front spoke English. The yom tum soup was very good, I will definitely try it again after a bit of time.
The location (as with the sports bar next door) has been a revolving door as there is no driveby business. I only knew about it as it is behind my bank, I do wish them luck

    1. I went there once with a friend who was jonesin' for pad thai, which she ordered. I had pad woon sen, comfort food all around.

Both were good. The vegetables in both dishes were fresh. Very standard stuff handled nicely. I live nearby, and I'm pleased they are in the neighborhood because sometimes you just need a noodle fix, and I do hope they survive that location.
