Nice bar/lounge in Tribeca?
I eat out in Tribeca a fair bit and have tried a bunch of places for drinks before (and after) dinner including: Tribeca Grill, Mr Chow, Locanda Verde, Bubble Lounge, Bar Artisanal. Does anyone have any other recs for a nice place to grab a drink or two before dinner in the area? Assume dinner is at 8:00 and that I'm not looking for anything like a pub or dive bar, and that I don't care if drinks are on the pricey side. I prefer a place you can sit down and have a conversation.

The bar at City Hall on Duane would work nicely. It's an adult place without any stodginess.

Have you tried Cercle Rouge. I love the outdoor seating but their bar is nice.
I would go back to Tribeca Grill or Locanda Verde also. I love both.
