Ma Peche Beef 7 ways - good?

I've done the fried chicken dinner and the bo ssam dinner - both great.

Now venturing onto the Beef 7 Ways - and realizing there hasn't been commentary on this board for that dinner.

Is it as good as the fried chicken/bo ssam? If so, I'm headed straight there!

Ed Levine from Serious Eats (New York) posted a great review in June.

It is a ton of food and the staff wasn't sure if they scaled it up or down for party size. But we did it with a group of 8 and tons leftover. Enough for two meals of leftovers for two people! And we split up the leftovers!

I really enjoyed it. In fact, I thought everything was fantastic except the consomme, which was a bit too salty for me and just ok. Unlike the fried chicken and bo ssam, it's priced and i think portioned per person. But that portion size is huge. In fact the only sour note for me was that the waitress pushed a shellfish platter as an appetizer even though there's way too much food to finish in the dinner alone, certainly no need to add anything additional.

I started to hit the wall just after the "4th" way of beef, the 5th and 6th are just overkill but a guy who REALLY loves beef might feel differently.

This sounds like a challenge for steakrules!
