Your difficulty in locating an “El Churry” may be because it is a proprietary name for a product exclusive to Puerto Rico. Their sandwiches are similar to El Gaucho’s (above). They also make some of the best empanadas and sell some of the finest bacon ever (raw, sliced to order, cook at home). Get some of each.

Been to El Gallo Giro and Tito's, nothing close to the mixto, plus the place in PR marinates in sofrito for 2 days. I know I will not get it here but was hoping to get close. I will check out the other places you have mentioned. TY
