What's a good, inexpensive, fun BYOB place for dinner in mid-city?

Need something for a group of six that's fun for a younger crowd.

Blu Jam cafe on Melrose (A great Breakfast spot) does international theme dinners on weekend nights that are BYOB (They're campaigning for their liquor license but I don't think they have it yet.) They are reasonably priced. If you get on their e-mail list they'll send you the rundown. There are also a few threads on Chow for no/low corkage fee places in town. Good luck!

Nakkara on Beverly! Great upscale thai food at decent prices-- I think they are still BYOB but I would call ahead first. Went to a bday dinner there with 10 or so friends and it worked well!
