Where can I purchase a cast iron comal in/around Dallas?

I'm looking for a nice, heavy cast iron comal like the one pictured here:

Somewhere in Dallas or within about 50 miles is fine! I'd just like to see and feel the thing before buying it, which is why I'm hesitant to order online.

Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I have never seen a comal like the one pictured in any of the high end shops in town. I use lodge cast iron griddle that's very similar to the one you have pictured. You can find a variety of lodge at Academy & Acemart.

My best guess for a comal would be some of the latin markets on harry hines.

I bought mine years ago at a Latin themed grocery store in Irving. It was either Carnival on Pioneer and Irving Blvd or Elrod's Cost Plus on O'Connor and Pioneer.

Elrod's has a full market feel to it much like the markets in Mexico (sans the live animals). I would almost gurantee you could find one there. Might call before you go.

I onlt paid about $10-$12 for mine too so it shouldn't be real expensive.

If you can find one also get you a molcajete (volcanic stone motar and pestle). I have spent years trying to season mine just right. Tthe thing is indestructable and heavy! Below is a link to one but I wouldn't buy mine at williams and sonoma.
